The Southen Energy Network has seen a lot of activity in Florida - numerous state-based summits, community support, direct action, state-wide campaigns and most notably, the develpoment of the Florida Alumni and Students for Sustible Campuses (FLASSC), a grassroots network of students founded at the 2nd Florida Student Sustible Energy Summit in Nov. of ‘06. The group hosts bi-monthly conference calls focused on regional & state planning, sharing of practices, anddeveloping relationships between regions.
