Social movements have long been intertwined with music - one of the most far reaching mediums of communication in the world. As such, the Southern Energy Network is intertiwned with the music that strives to bring awareness and promote action on environmental justice issues in the South East.
- Climate Action Tour - This Spring, Black Hammock will be leading the first Climate Action Tour in the South East. The tour will be going through Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas. To host a Climate Action Tour stop on your campus, contact: jason@blackhammockband.com
- Festivals - In conjunction with our friends at Change of Atmosphere, the Southern Energy Network helps to promote a clean, just, safe and sustainable energy future through sustaible living eco-villages, interactive learning demonstrations, performances and more at music festivals througout the South East. These festivals include:
- Bonnaroo (Tennessee)
- Langerado (Florida)
- Echo Project (Georgia)
- Forcastle (Kentucky)
- Southern Sampler Music Compilation - At the 2008 SSREC the Southern Energy Network launched the Southern Sampler Music Compilation. Learn more about this project.
