North Carolina Youth Summit a Big Hit

75 persons from university and community organzations attended the summit throughout the weekend, from Oct. 31st to Nov. 2nd well attended workshops/speakers/discussions,
ample participation, stayed on time with few schedule sacrifices, student
lead next steps for spring came out of the weekend helping to dictate
the SEN NC Campus Coordinators spring semester plan, attendees and planners had fun while learning
and planning, 7 college campuses, 5 community based tabling organizations
w/ affiliated members, and local community persons attended , 3 media
hits and a great networking opportunity for attendees,
meaningful relationships and interactions occurred, students exposure
to full spectrum of issues without being overwhelmed or lectured at
(very conversational), feedback from students/attendees
was very positive of the experience and opportunity.
