MASS Environmental Leadership Summits

Our environmental leadership summits are a weekend of workshops, skill shares, and leadership development. Students from all over Mississippi come together to work on a clean energy future on their campus and the state of Mississippi.

The summits happen every semester and are a great opportunity for every student from those who have been involved in the youth climate movement to those who are interested in getting started! Everyone is welcome!

History:

The Mississippi Alumni and Students for Sustainability is a collaboration of college students and recent graduates working toward a sustainable future for Mississippi. Created in the Fall of 2010 at the first MASS Environmental Leadership Summit, we have been working on campus Green Fund campaigns for the last year. Our students have also been responsible for hosting biannual Environmental Leadership Summits to spread the message of sustainability and leadership to other students around the state. Currently, the University of Mississippi (Oxford, MS) and Mississippi State University (Starkville, MS) are the two most active campuses in our network.
