Georgia Students for Sustainability

Georgia Students for Sustainability was formed after the First Annual GreenPeach Student Renewable Energy Gathering in Athens, Ga held in the fall of 2006. The group was created as a way for Georgia Student Environmental, Justice, and Clean Energy Organizations both on and off the college and university campus setting to network
and work together in the opposition of dirty energy development in the
state, and in support of campus and community clean energy/energy
efficiency initiatives.
