NC and TN Students tell Obama to Stop Keystone XL Pipeline

Today, President Obama kicked off his North Carolina and Virginia campaign tour. Although it was last minute, about 10 students from University of North Carolina-Asheville and University of Tennessee-Knoxville wanted to give him a message: Stop the Keystone XL Pipeline. We even used the same banner that has been passed around the country to every stop that he's made, so it probably looked familiar to him. The event was held at the airport, and we weren't allowed to go because of security. However, there were some really nice cops who told us where exactly to stand so he could see our message. We were so excited to tell our President that even the Southeast is standing in Solidarity with the Tar Sands Action.
